This is a very weird edition. Firstly, the pictures on the box shows the European setup, though inside it's included the table, banknotes, deeds and facilities almost similar to the American edition. Entrances, bases and roofs (so plastic things) are European, but the walls have the American design and are thin like the European ones (Fujiyama and President have the non-shiny walls included in the 1987 Canadian version). It's weird to see that since Le Grand (aka L'Etoile) buildings bases (which are European) have an arc shape, on the table the shape is a trapezium, like all the other American versions, the designers didn't bother to redesign it, they just added the "Funskool" logo and the european "Hotel" logo on the Start position.
A terrible choice was made to replace the planning permission die with a cardboard spinner. I hate spinners because sometimes you can't crealy be sure which side the arrow has stopped.
Another weird choice was to "recycle" the cars of "The Game of life" as tokens.
Obviously no plastic partition inside, so that when you want to play everything is messed up and you have to rebuild everything ;).
My personal opinion is that this is a "low budget" version, which included parts "recycled" from different games and reassembled. It was produced and sold in India but mainly distributed and sold in the U.S.A. since there were no updates after the 1987 edition.
